California Chapter CD Lending Program APA California has purchased APA CD-ROM training products for use by California Chapter members, either for individual or group study. The primary purpose of this lending program is to offer a no-cost option for AICP members to qualify for Certification Maintenance (CM) Program credits, but these CDs can be borrowed by any Chapter member. CDs will be loaned on a first-come first-served basis. Products will be added and removed from this list annually. FAICP NOMINATIONS BACKGROUND The College of Fellows inducts members every two years. The 2010 chapter and national nomination process is underway. Candidates for nomination should have made outstanding contributions to the profession throughout their career. They must meet criteria laid out in the national nomination guidelines including: • Exceptional leadership • Innovation and excellence • Creating a legacy for their community, profession, and society • Risk taking • Sustainability and follow-though There are four national nomination categories: • Professional Practice • Teaching and Mentoring • Research • Public/Community Service and Leadership.
